Starbase Gunner
Description
Starbase Gunner is a 1-player arcade game for the TRS-80.
Congratulations! You have been promoted to Commander, and assigned your very own starbase. You're on your first mission to deep space, when suddenly your sirens herald the arrival of an attacking alien fleet.
The player controls a starbase stationary in the center of the screen, which can fire in 4 separate directions. Enemy vessels approach rapidly from all 4 directions, and the player must destroy them before they reach the ship and destroy it. Enemy objects can take 1 or 2 shots to destroy. The player is penalized for not hitting an object, and receives more points the further an item is before being destroyed. The player has 3 starbases, and it's game over when all are lost.
