Stars

Stars is a 2-player arcade game for the TRS-80.

Each player controls a spaceship which they attempt to navigate from the bottom to the top of the screen. Each ship can move forwards or backwards. Stars cross horizontally across the screen, and the player tries to navigate between the moving stars. If the player hits a star, they are placed back at the bottom of the screen. The player scores a point every time they cross the screen, and the player with the most points after 90 seconds is the winner. The player can define the frequency, speed, and size of stars.
