Stellar Wars

Stellar Wars is the third game in Liv Games' series after Legendary Wars and Monster Wars, and features the same gameplay mechanisms but in a futuristic setting. The story revolves around robots trying to rebuild a lost civilization in a new solar system. They soon find themselves at war with alien creatures for the control of valuable resources. The objective is still to defend a base on the left of the screen, while destroying enemy units and bosses. In order to do so, robots can be created from ore harvested by Minerbots from a mine in the background.

As in the previous game, both the player's units and the enemies move in three lanes. Adversaries encountering each other in one lane, will automatically attack, but the player can also manually execute a secondary event once enough energy has been accumulated, or change the lane a unit is in. Before a level, when landing on a planet surface, the game features a side scrolling shoot 'em up interlude. Between levels, unit types and ships can be upgraded with ore and nova earned.
