Stellaryx

Stellaryx is an Asteroids variant for the Amiga. As in the original game, most levels involve the player's spaceship shooting at asteroids that break into smaller chunks when hit until all rocks have been destroyed. There is some variety in different kinds of asteroids to be hit as well as some levels including other targets like aliens or 2001-style monoliths. Sometimes destroyed obstacles leave behind power-ups, including lasers that can cut through targets, guided missiles, shields, or tractor beams.

As in the original game, the play field "wraps around" at the edges, with objects that leave at one side reappearing on the opposite one. Controls also work the same way, with the momentum of the ship's rocket bursts being preserved.

A bonus stage tasks the player with docking the ship at a space station for bonus points, with gameplay similar to Lunar Lander.
