Description
Sune och hans värld: Pussjakten (The Hunt for Kisses) is an adventure game based on a children's book series centered around the school boy Sune and his family and friends. It takes place during the summer holidays in Sune's fictional hometown Glimmerdagg, and Sune is trying to figure out what to do with all his free time out of school.
As is common in the series, Sune needs to attract girls in the best way. Only in this game his favourite girlfriend Sophie is recuperating from a broken leg, and will not allow herself to be bothered by his approaches. This set-back just makes him convinced he is severely love-sick and in dire need of kisses, and so must find other sources, i.e. other girls to recover from the ailment. Sophie is somehow OK with this, and actually gives him hints of what some of her girlfiends' interests are, so as to get Sune to leave her alone for awhile, and Sune is now on a quest to get kisses from seven other girls to cure him.
The game takes place in the home town and surroundings, some locations has minigames that can be played either solo or with the girlfriends. Sune need information to keep track of the interests of each girlfriend, and give them appropriate gifts in order to keep their attention or they will leave him temporarily. Other members of his family and friends also has suggestions and aids his plans, except his little brother that may mess things up for him. Some presents and date activities costs money, which can be earned in-game by recycling cans at the local recycling station.
During a date, there is both a timer limit and a meter showing the girls interest; the meter must reach the heart-symbol before Sune gets a kiss or the date will fail. A failed date can be retried to achieve the kissing-goal at a later time.
Once Sune has gotten a kiss on the cheek from each of the seven girls, the game is completed successfully.
