Super Locomotive
Description
Super Locomotive is about driving a train from one station to the next. Along the track, the player must steer clear of obstacles such as other trains, planes, red signals, trucks crossing intersections, and steer the train along multiple paths by changing tracks en route.
The player is equipped with a steam fire bullet for obliterating airborne targets, and a temporary force field which guards the train for a narrow period of time. The use of the bullets and shields swiftly drain an energy bar which must be maintained between levels by obtaining oil items en route.
Upon completion of a level, a bonus stage is played which entails the train trying to shoot as many airborne enemies within a limited time period. The bonus awarded is dependent upon the number of enemies destroyed. The game then resumes on more challenging levels.
