Super Space Stranger

Super Space Stranger is a Space Invaders variant. Up to two players can play in hotseat in an attempt to get the highest score. The player controls a "beam fighter" at the bottom of the screen and fires upwards towards the aliens that move in formation. Each different type of alien is worth different amounts of points. Every now and then a UFO moves past at the top of the screen. Shooting the UFO is worth bonus points. The player has limited lives, but can earn new lives at specific point thresholds. Four pillboxes block enemy incoming fire, but they become smaller with each hit.
