Supermarket

Supermarket is a 1–2 player simulation game for the BBC Micro.

The player takes on the management role of a supermarket. The goal is to run the store at a profit within six weeks to get promoted to a higher management position in a larger store.

Each week, the player makes management decisions including pricing, advertising, delivery quantities, and staffing.

After making these decisions, the game switches to a real-time mode. The player must staff the store, and set the number of full and part-time checkout and shelf filler staff. They must also set the mark up value and order goods, including: fresh foods, other foods, fancy goods, luxury items, and wines & spirits.
