Supraland: Six Inches Under

Supraland: Six Inches Under is a side project based on the original Supraland, made as an experiment in preparation of the sequel. Initially envisioned as DLC for the original game, it eventually became a standalone experience. Just like the original title it is an action puzzle game with metroidvania elements and a large amount of exploration. Following the events of the first game the red and the blue people now live in harmony. The game starts with the launch of a rocket with which they attempt to reach the house. But soon enough the "great rakening" threatens the village. The player assumes the role of a humble plumber who ends up in the caves deep below the village where a different type of people live.

The environment is large and while there is a main path to follow, there are many optional areas, secrets and puzzles to discover. Many abilities from the original game return, but half of them are new. By gaining abilities several new actions become available in previously explored areas. Compared to the original game more depth has been added to the combat and all enemy types are new. A large amount of content only becomes available after completing the game.
