Surgeon Simulator 2013

Surgeon Simulator 2013 is a short game made for a 2013 Global Game Jam. The player is a surgeon who needs to operate on a patient to perform a heart transplant. The player moves around and rotates a hand with the mouse and uses five keyboard keys to control the individual fingers. Various tools are available to open up the rib cage and perform the transplant. The game keeps track of the time and the patient cannot lose too much blood or the game is over. The basic concept introduced here was used to create the commercial game Surgeon Simulator 2013.
