Tagebau-Simulator 2011

Tagebau-Simulator 2011 is a single player game in which the player mines resources.

There are three game modes;

• Free Play. In this mode there are no objectives
• Mission mode: The game has twenty missions for the player to accomplish
• Business Game: This is the management side of the game where the objective being to make as much profit as possible. The player starts small and as cash is earned vehicles and additional mining sites can be purchased. Orders for materials are taken, prices can be negotiated and so forth.

The game uses keyboard controls to drive and operate the vehicles while the camera is used to change the player's point of view. There are six vehicles to operate;

• The bucket chain dredger
• The bucket wheel excavator
• The bulldozer
• The Wheel Loader
• The crushing machine
• The dumper truck.

These are used to mine: brown coal, turf, sand, clay, gravel and rocks from twenty surface sites.
