Tanigawa Kōji no Shōgi Shinan III is the third installment in the Shōgi simulation series endorsed by Kōji Tanigawa.
The game features the following modes:
- Taikyoku: an exhibition mode
- Meijinsen: a game against Kōji Tanigawa, if the player wins four games the game is beaten
- Hasami Shōgi
- Slot Shōgi
- Watch a real recorded game
