Tank-tastic!

In Tank-tastic!, the player controls a miniature tank and the single-screen playfield is a spiral-bound notepad. The basics are simple: the left gamepad stick controls movement and the right one aim. Each tank can only shoot four bullets at a time, but on the other hand each bullet causes instant death. Picking up spawning power-ups such as bullet bounce (bullets bounce from the boundaries of the screen, invincibility or shields may give an advantage over the competition. During the single-player campaign, the player has to solve ten missions with varying objectives, e.g. killing all enemy tanks, surviving for a certain time or catching the enemy's flag within a time limit.

The multiplayer modes are deathmatch, last tank standing, capture the flag and pass the bomb. Besides choosing the power-up frequency, the time limit and an optional winning condition based on the game mode (e.g. a certain number of kills in deathmatch), the game also allows a customization of the eight tank slots. It is possible to mix human (up to four) and AI tanks as well as forming teams of equal or unequal size.
