Tavern Master

Description
Tavern Master is a real-time construction/management simulation game in which the player builds and manages a medieval/fantasy tavern.
The management aspect of the game includes hiring and leveling staff, furnishing the rooms, buying ingredients for food, refilling beverage barrels, making sure guests' orders are served before they decide to leave, and protecting the building from thieves. Through research, new items and mechanics can be unlocked, such as new recipes and drink types, raised staff limits, ability to build hotel rooms and toilets, and more. This research requires meeting goals like attracting a number of a certain guest type (regular, rare, gold, royalty) or, later in the game, accumulating research points by dedicated researchers.
Additionally, the player can organize events which last an entire day, in which a preset number and type of guests is invited, but a fixed reward and special beverage price is set to compensate for the lack of organic guest attraction. These events also require a special meal made from special ingredients that can not be purchased directly - instead, adventurers must be hired to go on a quest, during which they can obtain these ingredients if they are successful. Events compensate for this increased organization overhead with high rewards and research acceleration.
Post-release updates have included several new mechanics, such as fire hazards affected by the number of light sources and the quality of wax and oil, automatic refills through unlockable storage units and breweries, a winter setting with added requirement of heating, difficulty settings, unlockable basement and an additional area in the open, weather changes (the worse the weather, the fewer the people willing to enter the tavern), and takeout as an additional food ordering queue.
