Description
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rescue-Palooza! is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fangame based primarily on the games for the NES.
The game is a four player beat 'em up that mostly resembles the second and third Turtles games for the NES, but that also incorporates some platforming sections based on the first NES game.
Shredder har gone and kidnapped everybody, and it's up to the turtles to rescue them!
A map level lets you choose which order to tackle the 17 stages where your friends are held. Starting with only the four turtles as playable characters, each beaten level will unlock two or more characters, including both friendly characters and villains.
The game features 60 playable characters, taken from different TMNT iterations of the '80s and '90s including the cartoon and the various comic books and even characters unique to the toyline, the live action movies or the Konami video games.
