Tenbu: Mega CD Special

Tenbu: Mega CD Special is a real-time simulation game set in the Three Kingdoms era of Chinese history, in which the player's goal is to conquer and unify all of China. Unlike most games set in this time period such as the famous Romance of the Three Kingdoms, it is not based on the classic Chinese novel of the same name, but rather is based on the historical Records of the Three Kingdoms which was in turn the basis of famous the novel.

Gameplay consists primarily of managing resources and diplomacy through a nested menu system, allocating soldiers and other resources to generals across the regions controlled by the player. There are a total of six scenarios to play, and 10 different playable generals to choose from.
