Tesla's Electric Mist
Description
Tesla's Electric Mist is a first-person point-and-click adventure game that involves Nikola Tesla. The protagonist's great-great-grandfather used to work for him in Colorado Springs around the turn of the century. Through the connection a family secret has been passed down over the generations, claiming Tesla would need the family's help one day. When aunt Winnie passes away, her lawyer sends the main character a copy of her will and a letter.
The game consists of about 200 static, single-screen scenes to move around and solve puzzles to further story. Elements of the narrative revolve around a time travelling machine and a large experiment that went wrong in Colorado. Through the time travelling device the main character gets the chance to go back in time and prevent the disaster. For the puzzles the game contains an inventory where collected items are stored. Clues are gathered automatically in a notepad and there is a map to keep track of the locations. The game contains a built-in hint/spoiler system when stuck.
