Tetris
Description
The original version of Tetris was programmed on a Electronika 60 at the the Soviet Academy of Sciences at Computer Center in Moscow. In this puzzle game the player must direct randomly spawned Tetromino blocks (in seven different shapes) down the screen in an attempt to fill lines. Blocks can be rotated and translated in the horizontal axis, they automatically drop down and will fall faster the further the game progresses. Blocks stack untop of each other and if a block no longer fits at the top of the screen the game is over. A full horizontal line is removed making everything above it fall down and thus freeing up space to continue play.
