TextTwist 2

TextTwist 2 is a single player word game.

In each round the player is given a string of letters and scores points by using those letters to make words of three letters or more. In order to advance to the next round the player must find the 'bingo' word, i.e. a specific word that uses all the letters (there may be more than one).

There are five game modes, Timed, Untimed, 'Word of the Day', Lightning and Crossword.

• In the Timed & Untimed modes the player has two chances to 'PASS' so that if they cannot find the 'bingo' word they can still progress.
• The 'Word of the Day' mode is a single level version designed for a quick game, once played it is locked until the following day.
• The Lightning game dispenses with finding lots of small words, this mode is all about finding 'bingo' words that use all the letters. It is a timed round in which the player earns more time by finding more words.
• Crossword is a modified version of the base game, instead of finding lots of random small words the player has to find words that fit into a small crossword grid, the 'bingo' word is still required in order to progress to the next round.

The game keeps the top ten scores for each game mode, has sound and music, can be played in a window or full screen, and has three difficulty settings i.e. It can be played with six, seven, or eight letter words. If a player drops out mid game their progress is automatically saved for the next session.
