That Bastard is Trying to Steal Our Gold! is a side-scrolling puzzle game where the player's character needs to steal all the Lerpikon's gold. The player controls a man who throws sticks of dynamite to blow away weaker sections of the levels. The goal is to collect all the gold nuggets, while avoiding various dangerous obstacles like spikes and your own dynamite.
