The Adventures of Duke Nukem 2D
Description
The Adventures Of Duke Nukem 2D is a Duke Nukem fan game, modeled heavily after Duke Nukem II.
Duke gets a message that the Demonic Chef is attacking the city, and he takes a chopper to go stop him. It gets shot down over the city which is overrun with zombies, mutants and other threats stand between him and the Demonic Chef.
The game is a platform shooter that plays very similarly to Duke Nukem II. Duke can jump, duck, shoot as well as interact with various background elements such as buttons and doorways.
There are six different areas, each divided into multiple sections and culminating with a boss battle.
You can collect various weapons and switch between them on the fly, but your basic Atomic Pistol has infinite recharging ammo as a fallback.
Getting killed means you get sent back to the beginning of the stage section, and lose any special weapons you've collected.
