The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is an educational game for one or two players related to the Adventures of Tom Sawyer.

It contains educational reading mini-games, where the player can compete against CHRIS (Computer Home Information and Research Station):

• Best Title Wins: choose the best title from a list that describes an event in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.
• Challenge Match: match a definition to the correct word from a list.
• New Clue Review: the player attempts to unscramble a word, with up to four clues to the answer. Each clue used reduces the points earned for a correct answer.

For each answer the player earns, they gain points. These points can be used to purchase a car to race on an obstacle course.

There are also three educational word games where the player competes for a high score: Sentence Scramble: unscramble the letters of the words in a sentence that describe an event during The Adventures of Tom Sawyer*.
