The Alchemist's Laboratory
Description
The Alchemist's Laboratory is a 1-player strategy game for the TRS-80 CoCo.
You are in an alchemist's lab in an old castle. There are shelves of chemicals, lead bars, and a mixing bowl. Two sets of shelves are covered with metal grilles. By mixing the chemicals from the first group you can open the grilles covering the other two groups of chemicals. When you have all three groups uncovered, you must try to find the right combination that will give you the philosopher's stone, a magic substance that can turn lead into gold.
Different orders of mixing potions cause different potion effects. Wrong mixing order can cause the player's death. The current potion status is displayed on the screen every 2 rounds. The correct order to mix the potions must be solved by trial and error.
