The Apeman Strikes Again

The Apeman Strikes Again is a Donkey Kong clone in which the player must free his damsel in distress from Kang, the Monkey King of Kong and achieve a high score. There are four levels in this game. In the first screen Kang rolls barrels towards the player who can smash them with a hammer to gain bonus points. Once the barrels have hit the oil barrel, then "living" fireballs must also be avoided.

The second screen is set in a pie factory and the player must move on conveyor belts and climb ladders to get to Kang. Also the "living" fireballs and pies must be avoided. The third screen is an elevator-themed level where the enemies exist of "living" fireballs and spring-weights. The last level is where the player needs to remove rivets from girders of a building to make Kang fall down. At the same time, the player must also avoid the "living" fireballs.

Each level starts with a set number of bonus points which counts down over time so the faster the screen is completed the more points are gained. If all bonus points are gone, the player loses a life. Umbrellas and other items can also be collected for bonus points.
