The Apple Tapes: Introductory Programs for the Apple II is a collection of software for the Apple II straight from the manufacturer. It contains the following programs on six cassette tapes, along with a manual:
- Alignment Test Tone: a tone used to align cassette recording heads
- Apple Trek (AKA Star Trek): a variation on the classic 1971 mainframe Star Trek game.
- Applevision: an animation sample program
- Brick Out: a variation on the game Breakout done in Integer Basic
- Biorhythm: a program to calculate one's biorhythms
- Color Demo: a Low-res color demonstration program
- Color Sketch: a basic drawing utility
- Infinite Number of Monkeys: a silly story to read about infinite monkeys writing (or not) the works of Shakespeare
- Pinball: a basic Pinball program.
- Sampler: a graphics demo showing an image of San Francisco done in a needlepoint style
- Space War (AKA Star Wars): a space fighting game
- Super Math: a program to practice arithmetic problems
