The Blitz

In The Blitz, a bomber plane flies over cities and tries to bomb it into the ground. The plane automatically moves back and forth and the player only presses a button to release a bomb. Those fall relatively slow and there can only be one on the screen at a time. When all buildings are destroyed, the next level with a higher difficulty (more and higher buildings) begins.

Each time the plane reaches the side of the screen, it turns around and moves a bit closer to the ground. If it hits one of the buildings, the game is over and the player needs to restart from level one. The game is set in 1920, the plane and buildings are shown as shadow figures and the background music is jazz.
