The Cave Adventure

Another conversion of ADVENTURE, the first text adventure game, this one adds illustrations, a banner advertising-supported revenue model, and streamlines the text parser to two menus (as in Lucasfilm's Labyrinth) -- of verbs and nouns -- which players can use to assemble correct input needed to navigate a series of underground caves strewn with wonderful treasures and magical hazards and opponents. The eternal goal remains for the player to collect all the treasures strewn throughout the cave system (modeled after Kentucky's real-life Mammoth Cave complex) and gather them in the trophy room.
