The Chosen RPG
Description
The Chosen RPG is a 2D turn-based jRPG, made with RPG maker, and inspired by Dragon Quest series or Chrono Trigger. The player controls Edge - a young man, who protects the legendary sword, God's Tear, hidden in a town's ancient magic tower.
The gameplay is typical for JRPGs, with a linear story. Edge and his friends move from location to location (sometimes using various transports), fight against enemies in random encounters, & earn gold and XP to level up.
The fighting in game is mimicking 16-bit JRPGs. The player chooses actions for each member of the team (attack, special, item...), they execute commands, and enemies take their turn. Towns have various shops to buy new items and equipment.
