The Crystal Chalice of Quorum

The Crystal Chalice of Quorom is a text adventure for the Dragon 32/64.

The Dark Forces of Klartz were held at bay from Quorom by the power of the Crystal Chalice, but when the dark forces broke through, the Chalice was shattered. Now its fragments are scattered to the four corners of the Kingdom. Darkness reigns supreme, and the thorn-spiked Tanglewood has overgrown the Meadowplain.

As an Apprentice Adventurer of the Second Order, the player has been selected to quest for the lost shards of the Chalice and, through death and danger, to return them to the Palace. Only then will peace and light return to the stricken Kingdom.

The player is randomly attacked by a wolfhound during their adventure which can kill the player, sending them back to the starting area. The player can then pick up their items again from the location they died. The player explores the Klartz, old cottages, and dangerous caves.

All commands are via VERB NOUN entry. There is a save/restore feature.
