The House of the Seven Gables

The House of Seven Gables is a text adventure game for multiple systems.

The player finds themselves trapped within a haunted house with seven gables. They must search the house and its basement looking for a number of treasures, including: a candlestick, a dagger, recipes, a diamond, a witch's hat, a priceless painting and more. During their adventure, the player must defeat a vampire and a witch. Two ghosts will randomly appear and either take a treasure from the player or instantly end their game.

All commands are via VERB NOUN entry, and most puzzles are inventory based. There is no save or restore feature. The player must return all these treasures to living room table for a score of 160 points.
