The Keepers: The Lost Progeny

Game cover: The Keepers: The Lost Progeny

Description

The Keepers: The Lost Progeny is a single player, hidden object game with puzzle elements.

The game starts with a hellhound delivering a photograph of a family group to an imposing gothic style mansion, written on the picture is the text "Rutland, February 16th 1901". The picture has been delivered to the player's character who, having spent most of their life in orphanages, starts the game riding towards Rutland. It's a bright sunny day but as we get closer the sky changes, the trees become twisted and deformed and the entire town is bathed in an eerie red glow. On the outskirts of the town we meet a boy who is looking for something, he warns us to go elsewhere because the town is not safe. Thus begins a tale of good vs evil as 'The Keepers' are a secret society who have been keeping us all safe for ages but, with many of them apparently dead, the balance is disturbed and evil is breaking through.

The game has music, some voice acting, three levels of difficulty and it autosaves the player's progress.
