This special edition is a re-issue of the original game, only for the German territory, to celebrate the April 2006 release of the sequel: Dreamfall: The Longest Journey.
Germany's release contains the German-localised version of the game and is made available at a budget price on dtp's adventure label ANACONDA.
New features and extras include:
- Support for anti-aliasing
- The entire game on a single DVD
- Windows XP compatible
- Slipstreamed patches (although the latest was .56 and the special edition reads .55)
- Features about the April model, the world of Stark and Arcadia, and April's diary
