The Lost Pharaoh
Description
The Lost Pharaoh is a maze exploration game inspired by Sabre Wulf. The player controls an explorer in the tomb of a pharaoh. The goal of the game is to navigate the maze to reach the sealed burial chamber with treasure. The character can be moved in any direction as long there is a passage. The level is built up out of single screens that can be exited in any of the four directions as long as there is a way out. Green doors are used to move to another part of the screen and blue doors spawn enemies. These can be taken out by shooting a projectile and there is an unlimited amount of ammo. Enemies respawn when a section is revisited.
Certain parts are locked off and require a key, stored in stones with question marks. There are multiple gates and only the correct key will open it, not just any. At the start of the game five lives are provided and any collision with an enemy is immediately fatal. The character then respawns at the same location. The game keeps tracks of the score and also shows the amount of rooms and keys that have been found when the game is over.
