The Orb

The Orb is an adventure game for multiple systems.

The player searches a dungeon to try to find the titular orb. All available movement options are displayed on a small mini-map at the top left of the screen, and movements are via text commands. The player can take and drop items, and may encounter locked doors which can be oiled and picked. Numerous dangers including monsters and pits can instantly take the player's life. After surviving the dungeon's dangers and obtaining the orb, the player must backtrack and return to the starting point with all the treasure they have collected.
