Description
The Persistence: Enhanced is a re-release and updated version of the 2020 game The Persistence, also bringing it to some new platforms. Owners of the original game for Windows receive the upgrade as a free patch and from that date the PC base game is offered as the enhanced edition.
The new versions offers graphical improvements through revised lighting and particle effects for both non-VR and VR modes, quality of life improvements and UX/UI refinements. DXR is supported through raytraced shadows, global illumination and realtime reflections. The quality of life updates include bug fixes, improved window mode, additional monitor support, additional frame rate lock settings (30 / 60 / 120 / 144), customisable controls and weapon hotswapping, HUD scaling, improved menu screens, graphical settings options (VR mode), and a free mouselook (VR mode).
