The Philistine Ploy

The Philistine Ploy is a religion-themed graphical adventure for the Apple II.

Welcome to the hills of Judea, fourteenth century B.C. You are a wandering Israelite searching for a huge hoard of wealth, the legendary Treasure of the Seven Nations. During the player's quest, they will be constantly confronted by a roving Philistine warrior, who is aware of your intent to recover the treasure. During their quest, the player will encounter will encounter Ehud shortly after the murder of the Moabite King Eglon. After defeating the Philistine, the player will fast forward several years, and continue their quest to find the treasure. meeting Deborah the Prophetess, and finding themselves in the midst of the battle between the Israelites and Philistines.

This is a graphical text adventure, where commands are inputted via VERB NOUN commands. Most puzzles are inventory based. Features a save and restore feature. The player has 500 turns to complete the game, or they will be slain by the roving Philistines.
