The Ploshers
Description
The Ploshers are a pair of color-changing intergalactic exterminators. In this arcade-style action game they have to exterminate the alien pests that have taken over various places.
Enemy aliens continuously spawn on the 9 floors, and a counter die at the side measures the amount of enemies on each floor. If the meter goes past 6, an enemy is touched, or the timer runs out, then a life is lost.
Enemies come color-coded in blue, red, yellow and green, and The Ploshers can shoot bullets in those same colors. Enemies will only take damage if hit by the appropriately colored bullet.
The timer can be refilled by picking up a hourglass, which will then respawn in a different spot.
A level is completed after having destroyed a target number of enemies of each color.
The game features 40 stages, 3 difficulty levels and can be played co-operatively with two players.
