The Purring Quest

The Purring Quest is a 2D side-scrolling platformer which features hand drawn artwork and an orchestral soundtrack. The player controls Kimchi the cat in a quest to track down his missing owner. There are five levels to clear including a graveyard, Gothic Quarter and skyscrapers. Rats who impede your progress can be swatted away, while dogs must be avoided. Along the way, Kimchi encounters famous cats of the internet such as Cooper the photographer cat and Nora the pianist cat. Kimchi can also collect fish bones and free caged cats for extra achievements. The game contains several references condemning the practice of declawing cats, and a percentage of the game's profits are actively donated to various animal welfare organizations.
