The Ring of Darkness

Description
The Ring of Darkness is is a single player adventure and role-playing game.
The player must explore the land to recover the four ancient rings forged by the Wizards, and the one ring, Shedir, the evil sage Gorn called forth from the void.
At the start of each game, the player distributes 40 points over 3 statistics: strength, intelligence, and agility. The player then chooses from human, dwarf, or elf race, and thief, warrior, or wizard class. Race and class effects overall attributes at the start of game.
The game is divided into overland segments where the player can engage in combat with enemies and travel between locations, 3D wireframe dungeons to explore, and single screen towns that contain shopping locations, pubs to explore, and kings who provide quests and healing. Magic spells can be purchased and used in combat or to explore dungeons.
It's worth noting that the overworld portion is different per platform. The Dragon version has a fixed screen overworld as does the CPC version (although the CPC version is more gridlike), while the ZX version and the Oric version feature a zoomed in screen while traversing the overworld (which seems to be different between these versions).
