The Rising of Salandra: Part 1 is a text adventure for the Electron.

The inhabitants of the Lands of the Outer Marshes had lived happily for many years, but in recent weeks, rumors had been growing in the Southlands of the gathering of forces of the Dark Lord Salandra. Then, one dark morning, the elders called the villagers to meet.

The elders announced that soon the forces of Salandra would be abroad in the Outer Marshes, in an effort to spread their misrule throughout the lands. The land was in need of a mighty warrior. All had heard of the Prophecy of Thrull. Seven Ages ago there had lived a warrior whose struggles for peace were legendary. One day he left the Lands of the Outer Marshes, promising to return if needed.

The player has been chosen to gather the three items of power needed to bring Thrull back to the Outer Marshes. The player must gather the the sword, the talisman, and the symbol of knowledge, and bring these items to Thrull's resting place along the Great Ocean, to save the Outer Marches from Salandra's forces.

All commands are via VERB NOUN entry, and there is a save/restore feature.
