The Secrets of Arcelia Island
Description
Separated from her father during a storm, Greta awakens to find herself shipwrecked on the mysterious Arcelia Island. The crew and her father are nowhere to be seen. It soon becomes clear the storm was no natural disaster, but a curse placed on them by a disgruntled witch. Her power comes from four orbs which are capable of creating powerful curses that hidden around the island. She has poisoned the land and wants Greta’s father hoping to harness the power of the orbs. As Greta you must search the island to find these cursed orbs with the help of magical hermits, elves, fairies and the like, before the witch does.
The Secrets of Arcelia Island is a hidden object game. Screens have a list of objects that need to be found. Each object found is struck off the list. Items gathered during your journey are stored in an inventory. These items are used to unlock closed off barriers which all lead to one of the cursed orbs. As more of the game opens up you discover more environments that need restoring. Puzzles need to be solved and vary in difficulty. Hints can be used to find hidden objects, to provide assistance as to what to do next or to skip puzzles.
A journal keeps track of your discoveries. Along the way you can collect pieces of journal pages which can be combined like a jigsaw puzzle into a completed page.
