The Starfire Soccer Challenge

The Starfire Soccer Challenge is a soccer-themed visual novel game targeted towards girls aged 8-12. It is set in the same universe as the Rockett and Secret Paths series. The story follows the middle school student Ginger Baskin and her friends as they aim to overcome their personal hardships to win places on the Starfires soccer team.

The player periodically makes decisions that influence the outcome of the story. Ginger will also collect items throughout the game that when interacted with will present the player with puzzles to solve in order to reveal more about the characters in the game. The player can also pause the story at any point to play mini-games where Ginger can practice different soccer moves, like dribbling, shooting, heading, and passing.
