The Tainted

In the late 21st century, mega corporations ignited bloody wars over genetic advancements, marking a dark chapter in human history. Disillusioned genetic engineers then modified humanity to eliminate aggression, transforming humans into a peaceful, violence-free species. Freed from conflict, humanity rapidly progressed, achieving major scientific breakthroughs, space exploration, and the colonization of hundreds of planets. However, on one colonized planet, M'loch, the discovery of a mysterious floating portal leading them to the violet alien race, called the Progenus, humans being incapable of violence created a new race of genetically superior beings called the Tainted.

The Tainted is an action RPG. Players choose from mercenary, assassin, psychomancer, or cyborg character classes, and play through 50 levels across eight worlds, including deserts, lava fields, swamps, and forests.
