The Technology Chess Program
Description
The Technology Chess Program is a chess program using a Shannon Type A Strategy developed at Carnegie Mellon University. The game competed three times at the ACM North American Computer Chess Championship and was a runner up in 1971 and 1972. It was one of the first chess programs to use brute force instead of evaluating a small subset of moves.
