The Temple of Bast
Description
The Temple of Bast is a text adventure for the TRS-80.
The player starts stuck in their home, as the hired goon for a local loan shark has taken up residence outside your door. The player must search their home to find the key for a hidden safe. Within lies a magic lamp, the home of an irate genie. After dealing with the genie's curses, the player finds themselves transported to the deserts of Egypt. Here, the player must overcome the dangers of the Temple of Bast, and locate the treasure within.
Commands are mostly via VERB NOUN entry, but some 4 word entries are also accepted such as 'Crack nut with hammer'. A save and restore feature is available.
