The Temple of Zoren
Description
The Temple of Zoren is a text adventure for the Dragon 32/64.
Terran security classed it as a suicide mission, and they chose the player to carry it out. Now, after fighting their way through the Zoreen guard-ships, out of fuel and with a damaged computer, the player's survival prospects look even slimmer. With Guard Robots and Secret Police ringing the outworld capital, even penetrating the Ringwall will be bad enough. Only agent 6809 would stand a chance, but, with the shipboard Reincarnation Unit on the blink, even survival looks questionable.
The player must bring back the Golden Orb, a map of Zoren, and a sample of the latest Zoreen Laser Gun to their transporter, as well as fuel to make the return journey. There are short arcade sequences involving landing the transporter. There are several instant-death situations, but the player has limited resurrections available. The locations of items are randomized.
All commands are via VERB NOUN entry, and there is a save/restore feature.
