Description
Did you confess your feelings to Kate? Did you confront your brother about his wife? How will Clementine react when your brother beats you to a pulp? Choices so far branched the story in many directions while maintaining the center path, and things that happened are not forgotten and characters will act on that knowledge and experience. In this final episode of season 3 of The Walking Dead adventure game everything will end be settled, but in this case, calm will come after the storm.
In previous season Kate drove an armored van into the fence that let all the zombies inside the premise. And to make things worse, the van exploded. Now, with zombie horde pouring inside, noone is safe. People are dying by the dozens, and those few that survived seek shelter inside the buildings... for whatever extra time may that give them. This episode is all about the war for survival, but it doesn't leave any loose ends in the story, either. Although, whatever may have happened to Jane who tried to kill you all, did she escape, was she killed, or did she become one of the undead? For some reason, that is left untold.
The gameplay is unchanged since this is just another episode that continues the same story with same gameplay where you control your character around and press button to perform certain action such as looking at something or doing something to some object or talking to a character, but the majority of gameplay still consists of quick-time events and timed dialogue choices that affect the story in some way. While Javier is the protagonist of season 3, Clementine who is was key character in season 1 and protagonist in season 2 is also one of the most important character here and how she shapes in the end will be based on all your choices throughout the games so far. In the end she leaves the colony to go and retrieve the child she was traveling with before running into New Frontier. The game ends by saying that her adventure will still continue.
