The Waste Land
Description
The Waste Land - loosely based on T.S. Eliot's poem by the same name - is a metroidvania-style game - an open world platformer with light RPG elements. You play as the young king Zyron III who unintentionally brings a curse upon his land. Left alone with only his sword and bow the king must travel across all of the known world and defeat five mythical beasts in order to restore peace. As you explore caves, forests and ruins you will find items: swords and bows that increase your fighting power, hearts that make you tougher and sometimes items that grant you new moves such as double jumping. Using these you can explore areas that were before locked off, in order to track down the beasts.
