The World of Insects

The World of Insects is an educational quiz game with an arcade component for one or two players.

Players take turns answering multiple choice zoology questions regarding insects. For every question the player gets correct, they receive 50 points, and a chance to play a short arcade sequence. The player attempts to align their small vessel with a target atop the screen and shoot it in a single shot. If the target is destroyed, the player earns an additional 25 points. The player with the most points after the designated number of questions is the winner.
