The Yeerk Pool
Description
The Yeerk Pool is a single player, keyboard controlled, top down, maze running game featuring Jake of the Animorph book and TV series. The Animorphs are a group of six people, five humans and one alien, who can change into any animal they touch. Together they use their powers to combat the Yeerk's covert alien invasion of Earth
In this game the player controls Jake and must help him navigate through the maze to the Yeerk Pool. Along the way Jake will find animals which he collects and coloured keys which will allow him to free caged gorillas. All the time Jake is doing this he's in danger of being caught by the Controller(s) who patrol the maze, however when Jake frees a gorilla, he can use its morph - essentially becoming the gorilla for a short time - and chase the controller(s) away.
Eventually Jake enters the Yeerk Pool area where he has to find the Kandrona ray machine and destroy it (the machine feeds the Yeerks who are not the good guys).
The player has three lives with which to complete the game in 2000 seconds. At the end of the game, whether it was completed in time or the last Jake died, the player is given a score.
